Katherine Bouton’s “SMART HEARING” Named a 2018 Best Book by Kirkus Reviews
Congratulations are in order for Katherine Bouton, HLAA Board of Trustees Member and President of the HLAA New York City Chapter. Katherine’s book, “SMART HEARING: Strategies, Skills, and Resources for Living Better with Hearing Loss” was named a Best Book of 2018 by Kirkus Reviews, an influential advance-review publishing journal.

HLAA Executive Director Barbara Kelley said of the book, “In ‘SMART HEARING’ Katherine lays it on the line that hearing loss is a significant health concern. Her message is run, don't walk, to deal with your hearing loss - for your health, your job, and your relationships. She doesn't leave you hanging about what to do in a crisis. She provides solutions. Determined to live better with hearing loss, she has learned everything she can to make that possible, and in this book she shares her discoveries with those who need it most.”
